LAME 3.90.3 is gone at last 2005-10-05
The highly effete LAME 3.90.3 is finally gone. It's no longer being recommended as preferred version - 3.97beta took its place.
Therefore, it will no longer be offered here at RareWares. All custom builds and DLLs have been removed from the MP3 page, and the bundle will be removed in a few weeks.
Also, since 3.97b is now the officially recommended version, compiles for as many platforms as possible are being provided. You read that right: the esoteric platform madness is back, with the usual oddities: HP-UX, Tru64 unix, Solaris, and so forth. Builds for those platforms will show up little by little at the MP3 page. If you're particularly hurried about a platform not yet graced with a compile, contact us with your request. |
