i dunnio why but ppl in this forum seemingly mistakes lot of guys as girls...... like me...... and the problem is some peopole take offend to that lol (i don't care since this is the internet and there are no ID to say that you are a dude or a gal, if this was RL then that is another story)just wondering, not offensively, how do you guys and gals ID people's gender here? i mean my grammarcial skills and use of massive amounts of slang (not to mention my hobby and avatar) clearly indicates me as a dude but something said that i was a girl, same with 大肚肚 and i'm just curious,
because most people i meet online are guys (the forums i been in are mostly guy stuff, its not that there are no girls in thei forum, but their names are clearly reflected of their gender, like Ned Flanders, anyone like the Simpsons most likely are a guy lol, and (just an exapme that i could pull off at this forum) i beleive lovelymanzzh is a girl, for the use of "lovely" in her ID. then there is avatars (if appliciable) the avatarfrom 无情 is a indicator of girl to me because of the cute, large eyes of the character and the blushes under the eye, while something like my avatar, which is the Master Chief --Spartan 117 holding two (dual weild :P) SMGs (sub-machine guns), from a video game where MC fights back alien with Assult Rifles, Rocket Launchers,etc. you'd have a pretty good idea that i'm a guy... (again, not that girls don't play them, just that not many do)
i have explained how i ID people online of thier gender, so what is urs? common ones that i know including the geammer od the poster, the spelliing of the poster, the useage of words by the poster, the area of knowledge of the poster.
i know this all sounds very sterotypoed (i tried to keep it down as much as possible, but....) and again ike i said this was not intended to offend anyone, if i did i appologise, and i'm just curiose on the matter
