civil affairs bureau 民政局
哎～怎么连民政局也不知道呢，看看上面的e文，就能猜出个十之八九了吧．他的主要功能就是处理公民的事务的政府机关．eg.如果你要结婚，如果你要登记户口，如果你要捐钱给受灾灾民，如果你要登记拿失业救济......，你就得去民政局办理有关事物．
我不知道国外有没有，至少但现在我没在canada看见过这个机构

国外应该也有的。英国就有！不过不叫什么civil affairs bureau more likely to call benefit centre or some other weried name.
