大家随便说~想上什么大学还有想去的faculty。如果现在有人正在报，能不能提供一点最新资讯什么的~还有关于奖学金的事~~最热门的program都有哪些，还有学什么专业以后比较好找工作？？加拿大的大学排名是什么？那个大学最好？还有那个专业在那个大学最好？比如多大就是医学，waterloo就是computerscience.
本人昨天报了UBC和UT，本人的最终目标是杀回多伦多，俗话说得好“好马不吃回头草”，但是本人就不是好马！怎么的？呵呵~btw，ubc application fee is $60 but UT is $165. Fees may vary according to the program u r applying to and the # of univ. u r applying.

For university admission, Is TOFEL a requirement?

Anyone has any information about the TOFEL exam? It has a few changes in recent months. I go online research, nothing useful.....

lol i know this because i can speak well, while my grammer/spelling sux, my dad had taken 20 years of english in china (as his "minor" or hobby if you will) and he know a lot more english rules than me, however, when he writes something he often writs some thing that is grammically correct, but sounds weird.. and he can't pronunce a lot of things correctly while i can..... while the former can be "faked" online, the latter can't (for it does not exist ATM, i would not be surprised if someone opened up a chat room with VOIP in the near future though)

Well... SSV rarely makes any grammatical/spelling errors, and what she says makes sense too. Not just some Chinglish only Chinese ppl can understand... Or some long sentences no one uses in oral English.

I think her pronunciation is perfect...

Actually, she could be more comfortable using English... (just a thought... but it's not impossible)

But you are right... some people do learn from the internet and can pass off as a foreigner as long as he keeps his mouth shut.

Social Engineering..Honestly,it is the first time I hear this term.....It sounds more like comoputer/software engineering to me. It does not sound like a major option~~Rather like a branch or a minor in computer/software engineering~ Which university offers that program?

Engineering is a quite wide field~ It sounds like you can go to any field with engineering~ Industrial Eningeering is about business management,biological engineering is about biology or medical field,etc Geometic enginnering is really cool as well! However, it is not one university offers all those exciting engineering programs!!!!!

Anyone heard of University of Guelph? How is her reputation?

lol well enginerring is kinda too wide a subject with mechanical enginneering, biological engineering, software engineering, electronics engineering, social engineering (yes i think there is one such thing),etc...., for medicine, well there are many programs that are specialized, for example if you are a programmer (software engineering) and want to go into the medical field, stanford have a good project, distrubited computing--folding at home, it uses people's spare computer time to "fold" potein and determine why do they screw up and cause ____________(enter disease here, most people say canacer, but there are others that be caused by this) then business program? um no idea lol, i wouldn't expect america to be a good model thought, too money driven......

In my knowledge, you only can take IB or AP. You have to choose one, not two at the same time.I do not think there is any school offers both AP and IB program, at least I never heard of~ btw, I am in Alberta, I am not sure about the program information in any other provinces.

I am not in the AP program. I cannot give you any detailed information, but my guess is it may be very similar to IB program, like you have to take honour program in grade 10.I know US has AP program in their high school system, I am not sure if they have IB~~~

In some ways, IB or AP students have a great advantage in compare to other normal students is that they are high motivated and intellectual. People need to have a certain average and services hours in order to stay in that program and High average and extra curriculum activities are what university looks for.

However,it does not mean normal high school students cannot get into the best universities. If you have a overall average over 90 and do volunteer hours or participate in clubs, sports team through the year, I think every university will love to have you as their student.

University admissions are based on the university requirement. Some universities only look at your mark. For example, if you get overall average of 85 and you apply facutly of engineering in UC or UA, there is a great chance you are in~

哦， 还有REGISTRATION 3500
