Conan has been with us for 10 years. Why not eliminate some charactors and introduce some new ones? I know many fans hope their beloved roles can survive until the end. However, the decreasing interest of Conan might have something to do with this. The variety of stories can hardly be extended to a larger extension simply because the roles have become "out of date".


The problem is ,nearly all of the characters newly introduced are just boring and cannot attract audiences' attention. And the old ones, like Ai and Vermouth,who are most likely to be eliminated, are so fascinating that they add up to Conan's popularity all the time. So why will the author consider replacing them with new ones, when he himself loves the old ones so much? The only way is to end this story in a proper way, and start a new one. As long as he intends to addict himself to Conan, there won't be anything helpful.
