Several bombs had been set in the skyscraper!
“Ran is still there!” Conan thought. He left for the skyscraper immediately. Some smaller bombs had already exploded, Ran, who went there for___1___, was trapped inside the building with other audiences. And the biggest bomb was ___2___ in the cinema!
Conan ran upstairs, avoiding the falling rocks, and finally came to the cinema. However, a large warped door is in the way. He tried to open it, but he failed. So, he ___3___ his Voice-Changing Bowtie, phoned Ran as Kudo Shinichi.
“Ran, can you hear me?”
“Shinichi?! I’m so scared! Why…why do you never show up when I’m in trouble?”
“I’m terribly sorry, but would you please look around to see if there is anything suspicious?”
Ran found a handbag with a black box. “I’ve found a black box, with a timer on it!”
“As I expected!” thought Conan. “Be careful, Ran. It’s a time bomb!”
“A bomb?!” Ran was so shocked that she said it out. Everyone was in great ___4___.
Conan calmed Ran down, and waited for the rescue crew. However, they were too slow. Later, Conan looked at his watch, only 15 minutes was left. He asked if Ran had got a scissors with her. “Yeah, why?”
“Listen up. I’m asking you to disarm the bomb.” Conan explained. Ran was very surprised, but soon she agreed. Because she couldn’t concentrate on the bomb while she is answering the phone, she brought it to the warped door so that she could hear Kudo.
Conan took out the picture of the bomb. “Well, now can you see the yellow wire? Cut it. You ___5___ make any mistakes, OK?” “OK.” Ran cut the yellow wire with her shivering hand.
The Architect, who set the bombs, had already been arrested. Outside the building, he smiled. “You may have grabbed the picture from me, but you have to risk everything on the last wire…”
“Now, cut the black one.” Conan said. “Then the timer is supposed to stop.”

“Farewell, Shinichi.” She smiled, and reached the wire. Then, she cut one with ___12___ sound.
Time ___13___ at that moment. Everyone paused their breath. It’s so quiet. Everything seemed to lose their color like the two wires..
Ran opened her eyes, breathing heavily. She saw a ___14___ bomb in front of her. The timer stopped, showing two seconds to blow up.
Ran succeeded! Everyone was saved!
Outside the skyscraper, Ran met Conan.” Conan? You’re here as well?”
“Yes, I’m here with Shinichi. Oh? Where is he?” He looked back.” He was here just now.”
