Kiwi has three different meanings.
1.一种水果：猕猴桃
2。几维(一种新西兰产的无翼鸟)叫鹬鸵{不能飞的鸟，好可怜呀！}
2。another way to say Newzealanders. it's a slang.

originally kiwi means the Kiwi Bird which only lived in New Zealand and exticted in early 20 century. So New Zealander cal themself Kiwis

that's wat i thought too until i saw the posted phone #, kiwi's phone # does not start with 416~
and i'll explain the name kiwi, it does not contain any of the meanings above allthough both kiwi and i love to eat kiwi fruits XD (i think...)
she chose it just because it sounds good and it would rhyme with my other nickname "kibi" (we were planning on making a manga since she's an amazing artist and i love to make up stories, and we decided to make ourselves the main characters of the manga and decided to be sis in it so that's when the name kiwi came it ^^; )
btw. long time no talk guyz~ still remember me?

well, since "happykiwi" this name has caused some questions, i will just tel you guys my reall english name. {think i am a weirdo right? telling ppl on the internet my real name~~~but i believe no one can do anything to me. me don't have any money, so guess me is safe~~~hahahahha} so from now on you can call me Vicky. {see? "kiwi" and "vicky" kinda similar right? they are just read reversedly. though still they each has a little bit differences}
