true, the C6H12O6 is could be sucrose, but there is one tips: Strickly, you couldn't determined the name of the substance only base on it's formula, the C6H12 is an example, you also need to see the tructure formula of that substance. another example is C3H8.

I am sorry! the sucrose is C12H22O11, and C6H12O6 could be glucose. That is what I am saying.

C6H12O6 is glucose for sure!

I think what you are talking about is isomers or organic chemistry, which just get more complicated......%&208

But glucose should not be complicated....

Anyone knows which family glucose belongs to? How about draw the strcutre? =P Just kidding~
