"inb4" it's a little hard to explain. Literally it means "in before". I think it first appeared in the form "inb4 lock".
"inb4 lock" is used when someone opens a thread with a pretty dumb topic, and we all know that it will be locked eventually by the BZ(斑竹）. I say this all the time, for example, someone opens a thread with the topic that goes against the rules of the forum (posting ads, etc), I would say 在被锁之前踩一脚，ｏｒ　我很期待NG的回贴。The purpose of "inb4 lock" or " 在被锁之前踩一脚" is to raise my post count ^_^.

inb4 is usually followed by a noun "XX" that will appear eventually in the reponses.
For example, someone opens a new thread and has the topic "柯南的恋爱史”(this time, the topic doesn't have to be dumb or anything, it could be anything)，then I would respond "inb4 兰”，because I know people will eventually include the name "兰" in their responses. (兰 is the girl that 柯南 love the most, right? At least, that's what I think.)
