Exactly. And, TRUTH san, the best way to get to know those new words is to read them in a story, not a dictionary. The context will help you relate the words to their meaning, but a dictionary can only help you relate them to their translation. Just move on, and good luck.
And as for the price... I think the English version is totally worth the price. I used to read Chinese versions when I was younger (much, much younger, as a matter of fact), and later, when I first moved to the English copies, I was completely spellbound. There are tricks and puns and puzzles and words between lines that just can't be translated into another language. And trust me, Ms Rowling is good at those. |
